  • Welcome to Slaine.ie

Check out our new field kit and survival kit guides. Our eight step recording guide will help you document any new Holy Wells you may discover.

When searching for a Holy Well you can search by county here. You can also look for a well by name by using our database search facility here.

Slaine always welcomes any help you can give us in recording and preserving the holy wells and sacred springs of Ireland.

Sláine is a Registered Charity, No. CHY 14794.

We are a nationwide group of people committed to regenerating and documenting Ireland's holy and sacred wells. Much of Sláine's work is done on a voluntary, unpaid basis.

However, we do have to meet some expenses such as postage, stationery, office equipment and the running of our all-important web site! This is done from membership fees, donations and sponsorship.

If you believe, like us, that the Holy Wells of Ireland are a fundamental part of our country's cultural heritage and far too important to be lost, please help us to carry on this unique work that no other organisation is involved in at national level.

Join us, help us, become a Guardian of the Wells
